I spent so much time with Conroy’s voice emanating from Batman’s mouth that it’s impossible not to think of him as the Official Batman. Kevin Conroy voiced Batman/Bruce Wayne for the excellent, long-running television show Batman: The Animated Series. Personally, my first Batman was likely Michael Keaton (who also probably remains my favorite), but the one I remember much, much more vividly watching as a kid is the disembodied voice of Kevin Conroy. Just think, there will be thousands of youngsters who are first introduced to the Batster through Dawn of Justice this weekend, meaning their own personal Bruce Wayne will be none other than former Bennifer member Ben Affleck. That means there’s several generations of kids who’ve grown up with their own personal version of Batman, a specific actor or adaptation that marks their introduction to the Dark Knight. I don't think that Phantasm IV beats the first part or the second part, but this is very, very close up there with those two Phantasm classics.Batman has been lighting up the silver screen for seven decades (!!!) now if you look all the way back to the serialized episodes that played as appetizers before feature presentations in the 1940s. His character was much better than Rocky i think. But here, we have the main four characters doing their job nicely, and Heidi Marnhout plays his role surprisingly well too. I didn't like the third one very much, i thought that Tim and Rocky were not so good picks for main characters. We need the fifth part NOW!ġ1:26:38 GMT -5 jude said:I just watched this part for the first time and i was impressed. Doscarelli does here is also a great addition to the series. The more mature way of directing that mr. I especially loved the astounding filming locations that helped to create a great atmosphere. This is the most fascinating part of Phantasm for me, that you can think with your own head and the plot isn't too easy for the viewer. Of course Phantasm IV causes some confusion as we can see, but it's slowly moving plot gives some time to think about the possible plot holes which aren't revealed.

I just watched this part for the first time and i was impressed. Anyway, Phantasm IV completely confused me. Is that Mike now a clone like Mike-not really human? He did hear his older self mention he was dying, yet he denied he heard anything when Regie asked young Mike if he heard anything.Īnything else you'd like to help me with? I'm preparing to watch all 4 once again this weekend.ġ3:12:27 GMT -5 rubydiane said:I've watched Phantasm forever-it seems like it.

? Somehow it seems he's linked to the tall man but we are never told in what way.ĥ)What knowledge was supposed to be in Mike's head-in the silver ball? Why did the tall man need that silver ball?Ħ) at the end of the movie, a young Mike is with Regie in a car. Did I miss this?Ĥ)Could Mike really be the tall man as a youngster? This seemed to be hinted at before. I thought we'd see something that would tell why he turned so evil. To me, that means he wasn't really human.ģ) I didn't learn a thing about the tall man's past. I'm looking for insight into this movie.Ģ) Was Mike really dead-a clone or something? I saw Yellow on his temple when he was cut with the blade from the silver ball.

I've watched Phantasm forever-it seems like it.
